# What is FBPI? **Fulfilled by Partner Integration (FBPI)** is noon's API-driven fulfillment model. Instead of storing inventory in noon's warehouses, you fulfill customer orders directly from your own warehouse — noon routes orders to you, and you handle picking, packing, and shipping. --- ## How FBPI Works 1. **Create an Integration Warehouse** in Seller Lab and connect it to your webhook endpoint or a noon-approved integrator. 2. **List your product catalog** in Seller Lab, then push stock quantities and pricing via the Stock and Pricing APIs. 3. **A customer places an order** on noon — noon creates an FBPI order and delivers it to your configured webhook endpoint. 4. **Retrieve full order details** using the FBPI Order API and begin fulfillment. 5. **Create a shipment** via the Shipment API, attaching an AWB number — either noon-generated or from your own courier. 6. **Complete a manifest** in Seller Lab to schedule noon's pickup agent. 7. **noon delivers to the customer** and updates the order status in your dashboard. --- ## Who Is Involved ### noon - Routes incoming orders to your Integration Warehouse via webhook in real time - Retries webhook delivery if your endpoint is temporarily unavailable - Generates AWB numbers on demand via the Shipment API - Handles last-mile delivery after pickup and updates order status afterward noon does not handle picking, packing, or any pre-shipment warehouse operations. ### Seller - Owns and operates the fulfillment warehouse - Lists products in Seller Lab and maintains stock and pricing via API - Processes incoming orders, creates shipments, and completes manifests in Seller Lab You don't need to manage last-mile delivery or returns processing — noon handles both after pickup. ### Integrator *(optional)* - Builds and maintains the API connection on behalf of one or more sellers - Handles webhook configuration, stock and pricing sync, order acknowledgment, and shipment creation If you don't use an integrator, you configure a direct webhook and manage the API integration yourself. --- ## What FBPI Handles Automatically - Routing new orders to your webhook in real time - Retrying webhook delivery if your endpoint is temporarily unavailable - Generating noon AWB numbers on demand via the Shipment API - Updating order and shipment statuses after noon completes delivery ## What You Still Do Manually - **Product creation:** Products must be listed in Seller Lab — product creation via API is not supported. - **Manifestation:** You must create a manifest in Seller Lab before each noon pickup. - **Physical packing:** You pack shipments based on the labels you generate before noon's pickup agent arrives. - **Operational settings:** Processing time, delivery model, handover type, holiday schedules, and return-to-origin (RTO) preferences are configured in Seller Lab. --- ## FBPI vs. FBN | | FBPI | FBN | |---|---|---| | Who stores inventory | Your warehouse | noon fulfillment center | | Who fulfills orders | You | noon | | Who manages returns | You | noon | | Inbound shipment required | No | Yes — via ASN API | | Best for | Sellers with existing warehouse operations | Sellers who want noon to handle all logistics | If you want noon to handle storage, fulfillment, and returns end to end, FBN instead. --- ## Getting Started - **Sellers:** [Seller Onboarding Guide][fbpi/seller-onboarding] — walks through warehouse setup, catalog listing, and go-live. - **Integrators:** [Integrator Onboarding Guide][fbpi/integrator-onboarding] — covers webhook implementation, API integration, and seller connection. You need an active noon Partner account before starting. See [Partner Onboarding][partner-onboarding] if you don't have one yet.
