Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

This FAQ covers the most common questions sellers and integrators have when first exploring or onboarding to Fulfilled by Partner Integration (FBPI).

General

What is FBPI?

FBPI is noon’s API-driven fulfillment model that allows sellers to run their own warehouse operations while remaining fully integrated with noon’s order, stock, and shipment workflows.
Sellers receive orders via webhook, sync stock and prices through APIs, and create shipments programmatically.

Who is FBPI designed for?

FBPI is ideal for sellers who already operate their own warehouse and have the technical capability—or an integrator partner—to support API-based updates for stock, prices, and orders.

Do I need technical resources to use FBPI?

You either need:

  • A system capable of integrating with noon’s APIs, or
  • A certified integrator who handles the technical work for you.

Most sellers choose the integrator option unless they have an in-house tech team.

Do I have to use a third-party integrator?

No. You can act as your own integrator if you have the technical capabilities. Noon provides documentation and onboarding support for both paths.

Does FBPI work for both noon and Namshi?

Yes. Once integrated, the same API connection supports orders from both marketplaces.

Is there a minimum order volume required to use FBPI?

There is no strict minimum. However, FBPI is typically used by sellers with moderate to high operational volumes or with systems already designed for automation.

Warehouse & Fulfillment

Can I convert an existing warehouse (FBN/FBP) into an FBPI warehouse?

No. Warehouse types cannot be converted.
You must create a new Integration Warehouse dedicated to FBPI workflow.

How do I create an FBPI warehouse?

FBPI warehouses are created directly in Seller Lab using the Warehouse Automation Tool. After creation, you configure the integrator/webhook and operational settings before activation.

Can I operate multiple FBPI warehouses?

Yes. Many sellers manage multiple warehouse codes across different locations or regions.

Does FBPI support cross-border fulfillment?

Yes. FBPI supports both domestic and cross-border flows, depending on how your warehouse is configured.

Integration & APIs

What systems or endpoints does my integration need to support?

Your integration should be able to handle:

  • Inventory updates
  • Order notifications (webhook)
  • Order acknowledgment
  • Shipment creation
  • Returns and RTO updates

What happens if my system doesn’t acknowledge an order?

If your webhook doesn’t respond correctly:

  • The order remains Pending, and
  • noon retries several times before marking it Killed

You can inspect all webhook attempts and errors from the FBPI Orders Dashboard.

What should I do if an order is not syncing or not appearing?

Most issues occur because of:

  • Stock not pushed to the correct warehouse
  • Incorrect warehouse configuration
  • Integration errors or API failures

Check your system logs and the Orders Dashboard.
If the issue persists, contact your integrator or noon support.

Onboarding & Support

What is expected from me during onboarding?

Sellers are expected to:

  • Provide warehouse and operational details
  • Complete integration setup (either via integrator or direct)
  • Run test scenarios for stock, orders, and shipments
  • Validate operational readiness (packing, labels, manifestation)

What support does noon provide?

noon provides:

  • Full API documentation
  • A dedicated onboarding team
  • Assistance with integration testing
  • Ongoing operational support

Can I switch between fulfillment models after onboarding?

Not on the same warehouse code.
If you want to use a different fulfillment model (e.g., FBN or FBP), you must create a new warehouse under that model.
